Ok...so this post is kinda pointless seeing as I can't post any photos just now, but I figured I can write it and post some photos with the rest tomorrow.
If you don't know, last week or so I decided that I was going to knit a blanket for the baby. Well, really my knitting skills are non-existant. About 8 years ago or more, my nana taught me how to knit a straight stitch to make scarfs lol. But thankfully YOUTUBE exists and I just searched all the abreviations in the pattern book to figure the thing out. Unfortunatly by the time I searched it all, I had knitted about an inch or more of the blanket...WRONG. I know an inch doesnt sound like much, but if you knit or have even attemped it, you know that it takes a bit just to get to this point-especially after casting on 193 stitches. Needless to say, I was advised by another woman to just pull it apart and start fresh. She said I would regret it in the end if I didnt. It was a sad night in our house as I pulled the whole darn thing apart and started over. But she is right. Im glad I pulled it apart because now it is turning out wonderfully. I run into mistakes here and there, but the love and time will always be in this baby's blanket. It is going to take a while to finish it, but until then I will just keep on picking away at it. The insentive to keep going and not give up, is the best motivation ever.
I will post some photos of my progress tomorrow!
